Mail Services and Canada Post
For its tenants, Le 1000 had put in place an internal Mail Service which is equipped with a computerized tracking system. Located near the north-western corridor on the Main floor, this service has been implemented to effectively manage light* mail and to reduce external pedestrian circulation on office floors.
*Light mail is defined by envelopes and packages which can be transported using a mail carts and/or can be delivered by bicycle.
The Mail Service is available Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
To contact the Mail Service and/or verify the delivery status of your mail within the building, please call 514-395-1006.
External Messenger Service Procedures
The person requiring the services of an external messenger service must fill out a delivery waybill, advise the internal mail service at 514-395-1006, and then place a service call to the selected external messenger service.
It is important not to remove the delivery waybill’s customer copy; it will be returned to the tenant with the signature of the courier who has picked up the envelope therefore allowing a follow-up with the courier company, if required.
After Hours Mail Pick-up
Should you wish to coordinate a courier pick-up outside opening hours, please inform your external messenger courier service and leave your mail at the reception kiosk located on the mezzanine level.
The Mail Service offers assistance for the mailing of heavy items.
- Firstly, the service requests must be coordinated with the Mail Service by phone at 514-395-1006.
- You will receive a confirmation of the heavy item’s pick-up location, which can then be communicated to your courier delivery company.
- The Mail Service will send someone to transport the heavy item from your offices to the pick-up location.
Make sure not to remove the delivery waybill’s customer copy; it will be returned to you with the signature of the courier who has picked up the envelope therefore allowing a follow-up with the courier company, if required.
A mail room is located on the mezzanine level for the regular mail service provided by Canada Post.
A mail chute is also located near the mail room.
For your convenience, stamps may be purchased in shops located within the building, such as Presse Gateway, located on the Main floor, and at Dépannegie, located in the Bonaventure Tunnel.
