The smallest skate size available is a children's size 9, whereas the biggest skate siza available is an adult size 13.
There could be waiting times during high-traffic periods at the skating rink. Waiting times can vary between 30 and 45 minutes throughout the Holidays and Spring Break. To avoid waiting during these high-traffic periods, we recommend that you visit the skating rink from opening time to 1 p.m., and from 6 p.m. to close.
No. If the children are very young, it is mandatory that they be accompanied by a chaperone on the ice.
No. The instructors must remain available at all times to supervise the skating rink’s activities. The Atrium Le 1000 offers skating lessons for children and adults, please visit the Skating Classes section for more information.
Yes. You can use the food court’s seating environment surrounding the skating rink.

It is mandatory to wear a helmet since June 1st, 2024.
Approximately 3 years old. All children must wear skates on the skating rink. Training supports are available in limited quantity and lent free of charge if on-ice occupancy allows its safe usage. Strollers, sleighs and other carrying articles are not permitted on the ice.
Yes to double-blade skates. A chaperone must watch over a child using double-blade skates at all times on the ice rink. Please note that our skate rental service does not offer double-blade skates.
No to personal easy-skater supprt bars. For security reasons, strollers, sleighs and personal support bars are not permitted on the ice. Please note that we do have support bars on site.
Yes. You can bring your own skates and use our skate sharpening service available for $7 or take advantage of our complete rental service available on-site.
Yes. The parking garage is accessible via de la Cathédrale Street and the exit leads to Mansfield Street. The parking fee is $6 with the purchase of a skating session; please bring your parking ticket with you to the skating rink to obtain your discount.
No. The admission is valid for the entire day and/or evening.
Le 1000 De La Gauchetière is directly linked to the Bonaventure metro station (Orange line). From the station, you can follow the indications leading you to the Atrium Le 1000 skating rink.
